Here is another new video that I filmed with Top Floor Taivers in June. It’s a song taken from our debut album A Delicate Game.
Versions of this traditional ballad exist all over Scotland, but there is speculation that it originally came from South West Scotland. ‘Johnnie’ is said to have been an outlaw and deer stealer who owned Morton Castle near Durisdeer.
