First gig for G&T @ the Lismore Bar, Glasgow last night.
I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came out to the Lismore Bar last night to support myself and Gráinne at our first gig, we had a great time and really enjoyed playing for you all. Thanks to Eamonn Nugent for joining us with some sweet bodhrán beats.
The Lismore feels like home for myself and Gráinne as we play a lot of trad sessions there so last night felt very relaxed and friendly for us. We tried our best to keep folk happy and so everyone who bought an EP received a free malt of the month, it seemed to work as folk were very jolly!
I think we surprised a few people when I got up to do a bit of Irish step dancing. What a great floor to dance on in the Lismore! Nice and loud.
Next up for G&T is a gig in my hometown of Clitheroe @ The New Inn on Saturday night. Then it’s off to BBC Radio Lancashire on Sunday where we’ll be live on The Drift from 8pm – do tune in for a wee listen.
