I was absolutely delighted that my duo with Gráinne Brady was nominated in the UP & COMING ARTIST category at this year’s MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. The awards took place on Saturday 5th December at the Caird Hall in Dundee. We were up against some fantastic artists including Fara, Talisk, Andrew Waite, Innovation and The League of Highland Gentlemen. Congratulations to The League of Highland Gentlemen who won the award.
Gráinne was unable to make the awards (being in Thailand!) so I went along accompanied by good friend and sound engineer Carla Feuerstein.
Well done to Simon Thoumire and all the team for putting on yet another fantastic night celebrating Scottish music and bringing it into the limelight of the media.
