Tune of the Week: Cazadero – Paul Shelasky (Week 43)

This week’s #tuneoftheweek is a fantastic tune which I first heard on the Chris Thile album ‘How To Grow A Woman From The Ground’. It’s becoming quite a popular tune in the sessions in Glasgow and I really fancied learning it. It’s in E major and it’s difficult on the flute! Or at least I find it hard. So this recording isn’t perfect as I’m still learning it really but you get the idea. The tune was written in 1975 by fiddler Paul Shelasky.

I love this tune! Such a feel good tune! 🙂 Here it is; Cazadero.
